The Center is temporarily closed through spring 2016 for building conservation.
The full range of opportunities available to Yale students will resume in March 2016. During the closure, Yale students can remain involved with the Center's collections and programs through specially designed internships and special term courses.
The Center is home to an active undergraduate Student Guide Program, offering undergraduates from all disciplines the opportunity to work closely with works of art and museum departments. Student guides meet weekly to learn about the Center’s collections, special exhibitions, and operation. While the Center is closed to the public, the guides will continue to meet weekly to learn about the Center’s collections; refine their touring skills; spend time in the Rare Books & Manuscripts and Prints & Drawings departments; take trips to area museums and galleries; and work on a student-curated Art in Focus exhibition for the Center’s reopening in 2016.
