This three-hour workshop explores how images of race are contextualized within the galleries by surrounding objects. Museum educators will lead a lively conversation about how display and placement adds, or not, to the visitor’s understanding of an object’s meaning.
K–12 educators, high school and college students, faculty, and members of the New Haven community are all invited to join the workshop. This program is free, but registration is required. Lunch will be provided. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
