This three-hour workshop examines the concept of race within the context of artworks from the Yale Center for British Art’s collection. Museum educators and Meredith Gavrin (Cofounder, New Haven Academy) will lead a lively conversation about the question of museum neutrality and how race is presented in the Center’s collections.
K–12 educators, college students, faculty, and members of the New Haven community are all invited to join the workshop. This program is free, but registration is required. Please email email@example.com for more information or to register.
