Filmed in Handsworth and London during the riots of 1985 and using extensive archive footage, this award-winning documentary explores the experiences of race and civil disorder in both historical and contemporary situations. Introduction by Maryam Ohadi-Hamadani, Postdoctoral Research Associate. Directed by John Akomfrah (1986; not rated; 59 minutes).
