Film Screening and Book Signing | Citizen Lane

This innovative film is a fusion of drama and documentary footage and gives a vivid and compelling portrait of Hugh Lane, one of Ireland’s most influential art collectors and dealers. The film will be introduced by Morna O’Neill, Associate Professor, Eighteenth- and Nineteenth-century European Art, Department of Art, Wake Forest University, who was also a consultant on the film. Following the screening, O’Neill will sign copies of her new book, Hugh Lane: The Art Market and the Art Museum, 1893–1915.
