Description: 
Learn to teach Jane Eyre using the collections at the Center. Explore the significance of Charlotte Brontë’s decision to create a heroine with both visual and verbal gifts, and examine how Jane reveals her character by turning visions into images, and images into words. This program is for active high school teachers, and no previous experience in art history or in the teaching of Jane Eyre is required.
