Portico Projects | Color and Abstraction

Join us under the portico for an outdoor art-making project inspired by works on view in Bridget Riley: Perceptual Abstraction

Portico Projects

Visitors of all ages are invited to participate in Portico Projects, the Yale Center for British Art's new two-hour, drop-in, outdoor art-making sessions. Under the shaded portico entrance to the museum, our Education department presents fun, engaging art projects that relate to works in our collection and special exhibitions. All materials are provided for free. Registration is not required.

About This Session

Join museum educators for an exploration of color and abstraction. Looking at the work of Bridget Riley, visitors will investigate how color, line, pattern, and shape can create exciting and unexpected images.
