About this program

Join us in the Study Room for this “Beyond Britain” talk on artworks that highlight the global histories in the YCBA.

Ji Yoon, a PhD student in the History of Art and a current Graduate Museum Fellow, will discuss the lesser-known transatlantic histories of the American Revolution. Through several works in the YCBA’s Prints and Drawings Collection, she will explore how printed media served as a vital tool for constructing and contesting Britain’s imperial identity in its moment of crisis.

Preregistration is required for this program. Please contact ycba.studyroom@yale.edu to register.
