All are welcome to celebrate J. M. W. Turner’s birthday with coffee, tea, and cake in the Library Court before the exhibition opening lecture, beginning at 4 pm. 

About this program

J. M. W. Turner was born 250 years ago on April 23, 1775. To mark this milestone and the Yale Center for British Art’s new exhibition J. M. W. Turner: Romance and Reality, refreshments will be served in the Library Court.
