Accepting Applications | Curatorial Forum

Applications due

Are you actively engaged in curating British art–in a museum, gallery, heritage context, or as an artist-researcher or freelancer–anywhere in the world? Do you have something to say about the state of curating?

Come share your experiences and engage in forward-looking discussion during a week-long, residential Curatorial Forum to take place in New Haven, Connecticut, beginning Monday, October 17, 2022. Applications are now open for this new program created jointly by the British Art Network (BAN) and the Yale Center for British Art (YCBA).

The deadline to apply is Monday, March 21, at 5 pm EST.

The Curatorial Forum will bring together a select group of up to twelve participants from a range of career stages from the UK, US, and beyond. With an emphasis on collective learning, exploratory thinking, sharing and reflection, the Forum is a unique opportunity to explore the histories, present experience, and future of curating British art. You will forge new professional connections and enjoy access to the collections and resources of the YCBA.

More information is available on the BAN website.
