Free admission

Celebrate the New Haven Night Market with free art-making activities under the museum’s portico. 

Join YCBA educators for art projects inspired by our iconic Louis I. Kahn building. Use our custom architecture kits to contribute to a communal building project and create sculptures at our make-and-take table. 

Materials are provided. Activities are suitable for all ages and abilities. 

 

Stop by the Yale University Art Gallery to view highlights from our collection, on view in the exhibition In a New Light: Paintings from the Yale Center for British Art The YCBA student guides will be leading tours of the exhibition. 

About the New Haven Night Market

Hosted by Town Green District, the Night Market is downtown New Haven’s evening bazaar, gathering all to celebrate the vibrant New Haven and Greater New Haven community’s entrepreneurs, art, music, food, drink, culture, and more!

The free, family-friendly festival will be held on Chapel Street, between College and York Streets, from 5–10 pm.
