The YCBA reopens to the public

March 29, 2025

The Yale Center for British Art reopens today after a two-year closure. Join us at the museum for an art-filled weekend with gallery talks, stories, cake, music, and more!

Martina Droth, Paul Mellon Director, will welcome visitors at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12 pm on Saturday, followed by remarks from Maurie McInnis, President, Yale University, and Mayor Justin Elicker.

Explore our two special exhibitions: Tracey Emin: I Loved You Until The Morning and J. M. W. Turner: Romance and Reality. In the fourth-floor galleries, view works from the museum's collection spanning five centuries of British art.

Admission is free! The museum is open on Saturday, March 29, from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, March 30, from 11 am to 5 pm.

Celebrate with us!
