To celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the Yale Center for British Art and the centennial of the birth of its founder Paul Mellon (Yale College Class of 1929), the Center mounted a major exhibition showcasing Mr. Mellon’s extraordinary collection of paintings, watercolors, rare books, and manuscripts. Paul Mellon’s Legacy: A Passion for British Art was displayed across all three floors of the Center’s public exhibition galleries.
