Graduate and Undergraduate Students

The Center offers a number of opportunities that enable graduate and undergraduate students, currently enrolled at Yale, to become involved in its scholarly programs. These include the following:

  • Internships during the academic year
  • Project-based Research Assistantships
  • An annual summer graduate student research scholarship, focused on selected World Monument Fund sites
  • Summer travel grants to enable students to travel to the UK for research relating to their dissertations
  • An annual Graduate Student Symposium for which graduate students at Yale and universities around the globe are invited to submit papers
  • Biennially, a weeklong Graduate Student Summer Seminar that seeks applications from students at Yale and internationally to take part in an intensive course relating to the Center’s collections

Each fall, the Center also hosts an Open House for new graduate students, details of which are posted on the website during the summer.
