The Yale Center for British Art’s docents are now online! Join us for a series of tours exploring the museum's collections, architecture, and special exhibitions. Each presentation is thirty minutes, with time reserved for conversation and questions.

About this tour

The museum's docent, Kathleen Leitao, presents an online tour of Bridget Riley: Perceptual Abstraction. Now on view at the museum, this exhibition is the largest survey of work by British abstract artist Bridget Riley in the United States in more than twenty years. For seven decades, Riley (b. 1931) has explored line, form, shape, pattern, and color to create dynamic works of art that pulse, shift, and glow with energy and movement. Along with discussing works on view in the exhibition, Leitao explores the evolution of and influences on Riley’s impressive career.
