Request Images of Rare Books and Manuscripts

In response to COVID-19, the Yale Center for British Art is closed to the public until further notice.

At present, imaging staff are working remotely. Image requests will be reviewed, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs during this time. Unfortunately, during our closure, we are unable to fulfill requests that require new photography. However, we may be able to provide existing digital images or direct you to alternative sources.

To request images of objects that are not currently available for download in the online collection, please complete and submit this webform.

In most cases, the Center provides digital images at no charge. However, the Center may charge for physical media (such as DVDs, USB drives, or guide prints), shipping and handling, extensive or special requests at its discretion. You will be notified in advance if a charge applies to your request.

BY SUBMITTING A REQUEST, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THE CENTER’S FULL IMAGE USE TERMS.
