About Héloïse Carlean-Jones
The French-born Carlean-Jones has a bold and personal style that is informed by the deep understanding of the music she performs. In our first installment of at home: Performances, Carlean-Jones pushes the boundaries of her instrument in stirring performances of Benjamin Britten’s Suite for Harp (1969) and J. S. Bach’s Chaconne from Partita no. 2 for Violin, transcribed for harp by Dewey Owens.
This performance is presented through the generosity of the Terry F. Green 1969 Fund for British Art and Culture.
