Renee Cox is Here

The Jamaican American artist Renee Cox shares her personal experiences about how she remains sane in today’s art world. She uses light, form, digital technology, and film to create provocative work intended to dismantle stereotypes and empower women. As one of the most controversial artists working today, Cox often uses her own body to celebrate black womanhood and question society’s racial and gender biases.
