About this program
“Home” in New Haven takes on many forms and meanings. In this afternoon of artmaking, create your own vision of home, whether real or imagined, using art supplies provided by the YCBA.
Participants ages five to 24 will be invited to have their own vision of “home” displayed at a special exhibition at City Hall opening Thursday, April 9, 5:30–7:30 pm, and closing 2 weeks later. Community members will present certificates of participation to all students displaying their artwork.
The museum will take the artwork to New Haven City Hall (165 Church Street) and return it to each participant’s school in New Haven when the exhibition ends 2 weeks later.
